3. Google User Data

Use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

If you authorize LocalPop to access your Google Business Profile data, we access and use that data only to provide user-facing features within the LocalPop service, such as identifying profile issues, showing review and profile information, generating proposed responses or updates, and enabling owner-approved actions.

When a user connects their Google Business Profile to LocalPop, we may request access to the following Google OAuth scope:

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage

This access allows LocalPop to review relevant Google Business Profile information, customer reviews, and profile details, and to prepare suggested actions for the authenticated business owner.

LocalPop uses Google user data only for the specific purposes described in this Privacy Policy and only as needed to operate, maintain, and improve the user-facing functionality of LocalPop.

LocalPop does not publish replies, updates, or other Google Business Profile actions automatically. Any action that writes to or updates a connected Google Business Profile is performed only after explicit approval from the business owner or an authorized user.

We do not sell Google user data. We do not use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, personalized advertising, credit-related purposes, or
data brokerage.

We do not use Google user data to train general-purpose AI models.

LocalPop may use connected Google Business Profile data to generate AI-assisted suggestions, such as draft review replies or proposed profile updates, only for the connected business owner or authorized user. LocalPop does not use Google user data to train general-purpose AI models, sell data, serve ads, or build advertising profiles.

We do not allow humans to read Google user data except:

(1) with the user’s affirmative consent for specific support or troubleshooting needs,

(2) when necessary for security purposes, such as investigating abuse or technical issues, or

(3) when required by applicable law.

We may store Google user data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, or support user-requested functionality.

If LocalPop uses third-party service providers to help operate the service, such providers may access Google user data only to provide services on our behalf and only under obligations consistent with this Privacy Policy.

4. Data Deletion and Account Disconnection

Users may revoke LocalPop’s access to their Google Account at any time through their Google Account permissions settings.

If a user disconnects LocalPop from their Google Account, LocalPop will no longer be able to access Google Business Profile data through that authorization.

Users may also request deletion of their LocalPop account data by contacting us at hello@localpop.io. Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will delete or anonymize the user’s data within a reasonable time, except where retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or operational purposes.

Disconnecting Google access does not automatically delete all data previously stored by LocalPop, so users who want their data removed should also submit a deletion request to us directly.
